Labour Day Weekend Saturday March 9 / Sunday March 10


On the Saturday we keep it nice and easy with our gourmet wood fired pizza and salad or antipasto or cheese plates. Come sit back and relax enjoy the magnificent surroundings and taste the full range of wines at cellar door and tuck into some great food.

On the Sunday take a load off at McIvor Estate with a three course lunch starting with antipasto, followed by homemade pizzas from McIvor Estate's wood-fired oven plus salads, and topped off with Cynthia's tradition Italian desserts, all enjoyed with McIvor Estate's wines with the fabulous Ben Christensen Trio creating a jazz soundtrack to an enjoyable day out.

Easter Saturday | Family & Friends Day Out | March 30th

Its Vintage time so hire a bus, gather your friends and your family - all those people you have spoken to about McIvor Estate wines, and head to Tooborac to show them where it all begins. The Saturday has a festival atmosphere.

Savour: Enjoy rustic fare with seafood paella and locally reared picanha (Brazilian-style BBQ beef)
Explore: Fun, structured mini wine masterclasses taking you through back vintages on each of our wines
Play: Work up a mini-sweat in our petanque tournament
Wander: Amble amongst the vines and olive grove on our guided winery walking tours
Dance: To the sounds of Spain with tunes from our live band Karavanna.

When: Easter Saturday, 30th March, 2013, from 12.30 PM
Entry $35.00 per person. (includes food and entertainement)
Food; Features Paella and Picanha (cheese platters also available for purchase)
Wines: Available for purchase by the bottle and glass;
Masterclasses: additional $10 per class;

Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday | March 31st
Can't make Family and Friends Day on Easter Saturday? Then join us for some stunning rabbit dishes on Easter Sunday. Start with an antipasto plate then choose from a main of rabbit ravioli or parpadelle with rabbit ragu and a side salad, finishing with a fitting dessert. Of course there'll be wines to buy and drink alongside. We will also have some live Jazz for you to enjoy.

Cost: $55.00 per person (includes food and entertainment)

Save the Date | Cooking School - Mother's Day Pasta Making | Sunday May 12th


They always say the best moments in life happen in the kitchen so this Mother's Day learn the art of making gnocchi with Mama! Cynthia of McIvor Estate will be leading the charge, along with sauces to accompany the gnocchi. Like you, we never trust a skinny chef so after the hard work, sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour over lunch.
